This was one of my first central London weddings, I had to make the trek from sunny Whitstable into the big smoke via train with all of my gear.  It was this gear that I had to select wisely as I didn't want to be weighed down for the day, knowing I had multiple locations to visit.  The wedding ceremony was at the Chelsea Register office on the Kings road.  Several well know personalities have married at the same venue in days gone by, Marco Pierre White, Patsy Kensit and Jim Kerr of Simple Minds, Judy Garland and Michael Winner to name drop a few.

I wasn't feeling the pressure, things that like that don't actually get to me, I need to live in the moment and concentrate on the task in had and do the best I can for my clients.

It was a blisteringly hot day for the UK, the mercury was above 30C so shuffling about the pavement outside was a real humid affair.  The warm weather however gave rise to some stunning outfits and ladies really dressed to impress...hats too.

Once the ceremony was finished we headed to the steps for the obligatory confetti throwing bananza in full view of passers by and motorists tooting their horns in excitement.

A short walk over to Bumpkins Brasserie, 119 Sydney Street ( which I believe is no longer open) for an intimate reception and wedding breakfast.

Sitting in an open air conservatory it felt like we were on a rooftop in LA, it had a real cosmopolitan feel to it.

Jenny & Keith were apprehensive about having personal time with me and faced with my camera.  It's my job to reassure them that they are in safe hands, I hope you all agree the images made together do this private time some real justice and they had nothing to worry about.
